Telehealth Therapy & Counseling

M. & S. Counseling Services offers therapy through our telehealth platform for a variety of reasons.  Due to COVID-19 we want to offer an option to protect the health of our clients and community.

Many clients have also found this to be a convenient way to access appointments in their busy schedules.

We also offer in person services as well in our Franklin office.

Investing in Yourself

Going to therapy is a an investment and what we know is the best place to invest is in YOURSELF!

Benefits of investing in therapy:

  • Decreasing panic attacks and anxious thinking
  • Improving self-esteem and self-worth
  • Improving communication skills and maintaining healthy relationships
  • Understanding your thoughts, feelings, and emotions without distress
  • Improving your physical health
  • Finding confidence in yourself to navigate life issues and transitions

Cost of not investing in yourself:

  • Continued anxiety that keeps you up at night, panic attacks, and not being able to slow down your anxious thinking
  • Lack of motivation, having no energy, problems with concentration, and ongoing feelings of sadness
  • Problems with physical health like chronic pain, headaches, stomach issues
  • Being stuck in the same cycle of pain
  • Experiencing the same relationship issues and fights over and over with the people you love
  • Low self-esteem and lack of confidence in yourself

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
